If you manufactured or imported PFAS in any year since 2011 — including in articles such as PFA/PTFE seals, tubing, or linings — be ready to report to EPA via CDX. Under 40 CFR 705.20 (amended April 13, 2026) the submission period opens January 31, 2027, or 60 days after EPA's forthcoming scope-revision rule takes effect, whichever is earlier, and runs six months (twelve months for small businesses reporting only imported articles). EPA's November 2025 proposal to exempt imported articles was not final as of EPA's April 16, 2026 update.
