A bilingual US operations desk for your Arizona subsidiary
FabReady is a readiness and organization tool, not legal, compliance, or certification advice. It does not certify anything; always verify against the customer's own documents.
The problem
In a Taiwan science park, one office receives the investment, construction, environmental, safety, labour and tax filings, each on a statutory clock. Customs sits inside the fence, with bonded status. The accounting firm and the law firm keep desks in the park. In Arizona, the same twenty-person subsidiary deals separately with ADEQ, the county air department, the city, the fire marshal, OSHA, EPA and the Department of Revenue; finds its own customs broker and arranges its own foreign-trade-zone status; retains a CPA, immigration counsel, corporate counsel and a PEO. All of it in a second language, for a parent that expects Taiwan-speed answers. Nobody built the single window here. The operations desk is the closest thing to one that a subsidiary can hire.
What the desk does
- One calendar.
- We build a single obligations calendar across every provider you already pay: the CPA's filings, the PEO's payroll dates, the broker's entries and zone reports, the EHS consultant's permits and Tier II, immigration counsel's renewals, and TSMC's portal deadlines. The general manager sees the whole year on one page.
- Named owners.
- Every date has one person responsible, at the provider or on our desk, and a date by which it is done. We chase, and you hear from us when something moves, not when it is late.
- One page a month, upward.
- Each month the parent receives a one-page report in Traditional Chinese, in its own format: what was due, what was done, what is coming, and what needs a decision from Taiwan.
- Coordination, not replacement.
- We join the calls, put each question in the words the other side uses, and make sure the answer reaches the person who needs it. Your CPA remains your CPA and your counsel remains your counsel. The desk makes sure they talk to each other.
- The other half of readiness.
- FabReady already holds the customer-requirement half, what TSMC, Intel and Amkor ask of their suppliers. The desk adds the regulatory, tax, payroll, visa and customs half, and the human who follows up.
What it does not do
The desk does not give legal, tax, immigration or compliance advice, and it does not replace the professionals who do. Nothing becomes "verified" or "compliant" because we tracked it; your providers stay engaged and accountable. FabReady is a readiness and organisation tool, and its standard disclaimer applies to every page and report the desk produces.
How it starts
A 30-minute scoping call, in English or Mandarin, to hear what lands on your desk. Then an obligations inventory: in about two weeks we list every provider, recurring filing and deadline we can find, and it is yours whether or not you continue. Then a monthly retainer, quoted after the scoping call and sized to your providers and sites.
